SON FOLLOWS FATHER IN PARISH
Rev. J. S. Vincent Goes To St. Nicholas’ , The Rev. J. S. Vincent was instituted at the Anglican Church of St. Nicholas, , Barrington street, on Thursday evening. His father, the Rev. S. W. Vincent, worked in the parish six years earlier when he was assistant priest at the Sydenham church. During the service the Rev. S. W. Vincent acted as bishop's chaplain. About 250 persons attended the service. It was conducted by the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt Rev. A. K. Warren), assisted by the Archdeacon of Sumner (the Ven. Archdeacon S. E. Woods).
