73s 9d A Share For Macky Logan Bing, Harris and Company, Ltd., have made a new bid for 'Macky, Logan, Caldwell shares. Their offer amounts to 73s 9d, compared with 58s 6d first offered by Bing, Harris. . Details of the latest offer were announced in Christchurch yesterday by the Christchurch manager of Bing, Harris (Mr S. M. McLernon), who is also a director.. . The offer was approved unanimously by Bing, Harris shareholders at a meeting yesterday in’ Wellington. The offer is seven Bing, Harris 5s shares plufe 12s 6d in cash; or 62s 6d in cash. At yesterday's price of 8s 9d for the Bing, Harris A shares, it amounts to 73s 9d.. The latest offer for Macky, Logan, Caldwell shares is five Alliance shares for each Macky share. At yesterday’s price of 15s 6d for Alliance shares, this is equivalent to 73s 9d.
