Former Australian Eligible For N.Z.
(Neto Zealand Prees Association) WELLINGTON. July 22. D. Connor, the former Australian half-back now resident and playing in Auckland, is eligible to represent New Zealand, the chairman (Mr C. S. Hogg) told Mr W. A. Craddock at this morning’s meeting of the council of the New Zealand Rugby Union. Mr J. N. Millard: He's always been eligible since he became a *■ bona fide resident of New Zealand. He was not considered earlier because he had not played here.
