FORMULA FOR KAWERAU
Workers Ratify Agreement
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 22. Workers at Kawerau yesterday ratified the agreement negotiated last week between representatives of the union and the management of Tasman Pulp and Paper Company. The, Minister of Labour (Mr Hackett) said today that a "very excellent” agreement had been negotiated which should enable any differences or disputes to be settled by negotiation, and thus avoid costly stoppages of work. The Minister congratulated those who took part in the conferences; enabling this successful agreement to be negotiated.
