No Ring, No Seats, No Wrestling
(New Zealand. Press Association) HAMILTON, July 21. Last year Waikato wrestling fans arrived at the theatre to find that one of the contestants in the mam professional bout had failed to arrive and had to return to their homes unentertained. Inside the hall, however, there was no ring, no seats arranged and no ticket salesman. It was later discovered that the truck bringing the portable ring from Taranaki had broken an axle near Te Kuiti. The bout was cancelled.
