AMMUNITION FOR CASS BAY
Arrival Of H.M.N.Z.S. Endeavour One hundred and thirty tons of ammunition and explosives to replenish the naval arsenal at Cass Bay will be brought to Lyttelton from Shelley Bay. Wellington, by H.M.N Z.S Endeavour on August Fifty tons of obsolete Army ammunition and over-age Navy explosives will be dumped by the ship cm its return journey to Wellington on August 10. The Endeavour will then load at Shelley Bay ammunition to be taken to the naval arsenal at Auckland.
