Test Broadcast Prospects
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. July 22. Radio reception from South Africa this week-end should be reasonable, the director of Carter Observatory (Mr I. L. Thomsen) said tonight Although he had not observed the sun in the last two days, sun-spot activity then was such as to be unlikely to upset radio waves, he said. “This is not a watertight law, but conditions should be reasonable.” he said.
