Ruanda-Urundi Clashes

(Rec. 8 p.m.) KAMPALA (Uganda), July 21. Fierce inter-tribal fighting is reported to have broken out in Ruanda-Urundi, the United Nations trust territories east of the Congo. The territories are administered by Belgium. Onfe company of Belgian troops has been diverted to RuandaUrundi from the Congo, British United Press said. Another two companies were flown in from Belgium. Tribal fighting broke out between the Ruanda peoples, who want a republic and who plan later to join the Congo, and the Urundis, who want a separate monarchy.
