WELLINGTON’S LATEST NEW BUILDING.—The new head office of the Dominion Life Assurance Office of New Zealand, Ltd., in Victoria street, Wellington. It will be officially opened next Tuesday. The building has nine storeys and cost £325,000. A feature is a 15ft-wide shopping arcade connecting Victoria street and Willis street. The arcade passes through the new building and also through the company’s old building fronting Willis street. The architect is Mr S. W. Fearn, of Wellington.
