Army Apprentices
Indentured army apprentices had increased by 10 to a total of 175 in 13 trades, says the annual report of the New Zealand Army. The 13 trades are: armourers, blacksmiths, carpenters, and joiners, dental mechanics, electrical wiremen, electricians (vehicle and plant), fitters and turners, painters and paperhangers, panelbeaters, plumbers and drainlayers, radio technicians, telecommunication mechanics and vehicle mechanics.
