LODGING OF WRIT
No Comment By Chairman
Asked if he had any further statement to make about his association’s declared intention to lodge a writ of £2200 against the Travel and Holidays Association, the chairman of the South Island Publicity Association (Mr L. Christie) said he had no comment to make. Mr Christie was approached after an executive meeting of his association last evening.
The South Island Publicity Association had demanded that the Holiday and Travel Association refund the £2200 paid to it as subscriptions for the financial year before the bodies separated earlier this year. No writ has been lodged in the Christchurch Supreme Court.
