Post Office Promotions
The following Post Office promotions were recently announced: Mr T. C. Johnston, of the Riccarton Post Office staff, to postmaster at Waikari, where he will replace Mr L. D. Brown, recently transferred to Belfast; Mr D. Clark, of the savings bank branch, to supervisor, savings bank branch, Timaru; Mr M. Evans, of Linwood, to supervisor at Cromwell; Mr J. D. Welsh, at present at Sydenham, to supervisor at Tokoroa; and Mr E. F. Lorgelly, of the telephone exchange staff at Whangarei, to supervisor of the telephone exchange at Kaiapoi.
