BOWLER NAMED FOR TOUR
T. Dewdney Joins West Indian Team (NX. Press Associatton—CopyriaM) GEORGETOWN. July 7. The Jamaican pace bowler, T. Dewdney, has been named sixteenth player to tour Australia with the West Indies in October. He replaces the Barbadian, E. Atkinson, who withdrew after selection because he could not get leave. Dewdney, aged 27. played for the West Indies in the 1954 series against Australia and against New Zealand in 1956. He played against Pakistan in 1958 before going to England to play league cricket.
