N.C.C. ELECTS OFFICERS
Officers elected at the annual meeting of the National Council of Churches yesterday were: President, the Rev. L. A. North (Wellington); vice-president, the Rev. R. Thornley (Wellington); executive, the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren), the Dean of Christchurch (the Very Rev. Martin Sullivan), the Rev. M. W. Wilson, the Rev. J. D. Grocott, the Rev. A. K. Petch, the Rev. A. L. Sslcock, the Rev. R. M. O’Grady, the Rev. M. R. Hodder, Brigadier L. O. Millar, Mesdames D. Johnson, F. O. Bennett; general secretary, the Rev. A. A. Brash; treasurer, Mr B. England; auditor, Mr L. W. Broadhead.
