Macfarlane) and Mr W. F. McArthur (a past president of the Counties Association). J The board had been well served by press Publicity said members. The- board decided to discuss the question at its August meeting. Mr J. A. Ongley is to succeed his father. Mr A. M. Ongley. as Crown Solicitor at Palmerston North. Mr A. M. Ongley has retired after holding the office of Crown Solicitor since 1953.—(P.A.)
