BURNSIDE STOCK SALE
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN. July « There was a larger yarding of fat cattle at the Burnside sale today--369 against 279 last week. At the start of the sale values were £2 to £3 below last week, but with some outside competition arriving, the sale improved towards the end. With another heavy yarding of fat sheep, values for most classes again showed a downward trend. There was an increase of almost 400 above the previous tally of 3548. - Butchers were given an excellent selection of ewes as there were many- top quality sheep penned.
