Mr Mandel said tonight that he raa done so because he. thought the A J.C. committee had been inconsiderate and had treated him unfairly.

Mr Mandel has not fielded since March 16 at Warwick Farm when he figured in an argument with the AJ.C. betting supervisor. Mr D. Hinwood. The bookmaker was called before the A.J.C. committee on April I and was suspended until April 30.

“The whole case was very upsetting and with all due respects to the A.J.C. I do not think they gave me a fair chance." he said. 'lt took them only two minutes and a half to take away my licence and I was not given the chance to say a word in my defence." Mr Mandel will continue his active as a breeder and racehone owner.
