Squash Rackets PROVINCIAL RANKINGS
M. L. Rooney At Top
M. L. Rooney (Officers’ Club) heads the first Canterbury squash rackets ranking list, which has been issued by the combined local squash rackets clubs. Rooney is followed on this ladder by R. G. Pattinson (Christchurch) and S. M Hope (Wigram). Although inter-club squai h rackets in Christchurch is in its third season, this is the first in which a provincial ladder has been formed, said the ladder officer (Mr M. R. Blank) yesterday. Players on the ladder may challenge two places up, and those not on the ladder may challenge any of the last four.
