REDCLIFFS RANGE DEVELOPMENT
Council Subsidy For
Play Area Only
The subsidy of 10s in the £ which has been offered to the Redcliffs rifle range development by the Christchurch City Council applies only to. money raised by the committee for the proposed play area, said the secretary (Mr A Dryburgh) yesterday. Mr Dryburgh said that the statement which appeared in "The Press” suggested that the subsidy would be payable on all money raised by the committee. The' community centre, which was to be the other project of the range development committee. would not be subsidised, he said.
