WELLINGTON, June 23. The forecast is for showers on Saturday, when the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club will open Its winter meeting at Hastings. There has been a good deal of rain during the last two days and the track has become soft. The T.A.B. double will be on the Winter Handicap and the Mahora Handicap. Riding engagements include:— C. H.
