SIR LESLIE MUNRO CALLS ON MR NASH
Hungarian Problem Discussed (New Zealand Preu Association) WELLINGTON, June 23. New Zealand’s former Ambaa--1 sador to the United States, Sir 3 Leslie Munro, this morning had • talks with the Prime Minister (Mr Nash land later the Leader 1 of the Opposition (Mr Holyoake). s “My call on .the Prime Miniss ter was just to discuss the Hunr garian problem," Sir Leslie Munro > said later. He is the United i Nations special representative in Hungary. 1 He declined to comment on his i talks with Mr Holyoake; but it is s believed they discussed the vacant Washington ambassador's post which Mr Holyoake has promised to fill immediately if the National Party becomes the Government. Sir Leslie Munro will return to Auckland tomorrow.
