Moral Re-Armament

Sir,—“Moral Re-Armament” or call it what you like, is a dire need today, probably more so in the West than the East. The world as I see it today is a battle between Christianity and “Khrushchevanity” with the latter gaining more converts in 40 years than the former in almost 2000. Their methods of subduing their converts have not been much more brutal than ours used against the Red Indians, Maoris, Africans, etc. Communism is the delinquent “child” of Christianity, so where do we go from here? The only wealth of a nation worth mentioning is the ability of its people to work, not the gold in the vaults! Example to the young is the best precept for parents to follow, and I suggest a little less preaching against others and a little more work and less play, could go a long way to solving the world’s needs. —Yours, etc, P.
