NEW DENTAL SCHOOL IN DUNEDIN.—The five-storey reinforced concrete building erected for the Dental School of the University of Otago. This photograph, taken at the corner of Frederick and Great King streets, shows the checkerboard treatment of a solid concrete end wall and the arrangement of the lift tower. The facade has glass curtain walling, with the lower panes on each floor heat insulated. The building, which was designed by the Government Architect’s staff in consultation with the university authorities, will be in use early next year.
