Representative Squad
With the Canterbury senior representative side affected by players being selected for the Olympic hockey team, a new training squad has been announced for the remaining New Zealand Hockey Challenge Shield ma’ches this season.
The squad, as announced by the sole Canterbury selector (Mr T. E. Eegleton), is:— K. Mortimer (Woolston). R O'Connor (Universitv), L Hobson (Woolston). E. Barnes (High School Old Boys). K. Thomson (University), A. Read (University), B. Maunsell (University), P. Bly th (High School Old Boys). J. Kiddey (High School Old Boys), B. Aldridge (Woolston). Paul Clark (West Old Boys). Three further players will be added to the squad later.
