Bus Stops Shifted
Transport Board buses have been diverted from Colombo street and Moorhouse avenue via St. Asaph street and Durham street while work on the approaches to the overhead bridge means the closing of the intersection.
The stop at Moorhouse avenue and Colombo street will be bypassed. The outwards stop at St. Asaph street will be moved into St.
Asaph street. This arrangement will continue until next Thursday.
Power Cyclist Injured.—A oower cyclist suffered head injuries in a collision with a car in Harewood road, near St. Joseph’s Methodist home about 6.48 p.m. yesterday. He is Mr William George Wigglesworth of 167 Harewood road. Taken by ambulance to the Christchurch Public Hospital, Mr Wigglesworth was admitted. His condition late last night was satisfactory.
