Extradition Of Eichmann

MILAN, June 20.

Psesident Arturo Frondizi, of Argentina, said today that he would be prepared to permit the extradition of the former Nazi S.S. colonel Adolf Eichmann, if he were handed back by Israel. Eichmann, who was kidnapped in Argentina by Israeli agents, was. taken to Israel, where he is to stand trial for bis part In the murder of six million Jews. Argentina has threatened to take the kidnapping issue to the United Nations. President Frondizi said extradition would be granted if conditions of international law were met.

The Argentine leader’s words apparently left the door open to an extradition request by Israel should It meet Argentina’s request that Eichmann be returned.

In Haifa today, Eichmann appeared before a Magistrate and was remanded for a further 15 days.
