ARRIVAL OF NEW SETTLERS
British And Dutch Groups Expected _i i ■ ' The Super Constellation from Holland which is expected to arrive at Christchurch airport today will carry 85 new settlers, according to information received by the Immigration Officer (Mr G. Potter) at the Labour Department in Christchurch. The party will include men, women and children, 16 of whom are destined for Christchurch, 28 for other South Island areas and 41 for the North Island. The Southern Cross, expected to berth in Wellington on July 6, will carry 18 assisted British immigrants for the Christchurch district. There is one single woman and one single man in the group. The rest are married men with families, including two clerks, an engineer, an electrical worker and a stereotyper. In the Arcadia, due at Auckland on July 6, there will be 12 assisted immigrants destined for Christchurch. , \
