COAST DRAWS WITH BULLER, 3-3
Match Played In Bad Conditions
(New Zealand Press Association) WESTPORT, June 18.
In a representative Rugby match at Westport today, Buller and West Coast drew with a score, 3-3. As in another representative game between Buller and Canterbury earlier in the season, rain fell almost throughout the match, but in spite of this some bright play was witnessed, particularly between the forwards. with the Buller loose men in lively form. Good back play was impossible under the conditions, but both sides were often dangerous when following through from long kicks. S. Kermode scored a try for Coast, and Buller’s points came from a penalty try.
