N.Z.-U.K. Metal Firms Link In Marketing

"The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND, June 10. The Aluminium Company of New Zealand, Ltd., has joined with the Midland Metal Spinning Company, Ltd., of Wolverhampton, England, in the formation of a new aluminium manufacturing and marketing firm. The New company, Tower Aluminimum Company, Ltd., has been registered in Auckland with a capital of £lOOO, of which Midland Metal Spinning holds 750 of the £1 shares and Aluminium Company holds 125 shares.

The remaining 125 shares are held by H- M. Fogarty, Ltd., of Auckland, which holds the local agency for the British firm. Mr L. N. Ross, chairman of the Aluminium Company of New Zealand, Ltd., said yesterday that his company would manufacture “Tower” brand products under licence. Production under the company’s existing brand name would be maintained.
