Cruelty To Dog
• Sir, —I and many more were revolted. Five pounds to the youth of today is nothing. This was a shocking case of cruelty, and warranted a much heavier penalty. What has become of the other dog that ran off? Probably starving, and too terrified to show itself. Until the S.P.CA. can get more co-operation from the courts this sort of thing will never be stopped.
