KINDRED CLUBS’ ASSOCIATION
Conference To Be Held In Timaru (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, June 2. The New Zealand Kindred Clubs’ Association—an affiliation of all Savage and Orphans’ clubs throughout the Dominion—will hold a conference at St. Patrick’s Hall, Timaru, at the week-end. The 45 clubs from Thames to Invercargill will be represented by about 200 persons. They will assemble at 2.30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, and there will be a social hour from 5 p.m. to 6 pjn., and a grand korero at 8 o.m.
The chairman of the organising committee is Mr K. G. Frater. Scenic tours to Tekapo and Mount Peel have been arranged for Sunday, and on Sunday evening there will be a concert and social gathering.
