Cider Apples
Sir, —An item in one of your recent issues stated that neither in Australia nor New Zealand are true cider apples trees to be found. In view of this, could someone say whether cider vinegar, procurable in New Zealand, contains the health-giving properties for which this liquid is noted, providing that it is made from true cider apples.—Yours, etc., FW May 30, 1960.
