Skyline Returning To Australia
(N.Z Press Copyright) SYDNEY. April 29. The A.J.C. Derby winner. Skyline, on Tuesday would return from New Zealand, where he has been spelling for three months, the "Sydney Morning Herald" said today. Skyline has not raced since July 11 last year, when he ran second to Earl wood in the Doomben Cup. He has been spelling at the Matamata property of Mr M. Grogan. Skyline developed an infected knee when he spelled at Southport after the Doomben Cup. A course of antibiotics for the infected knee brought on an attack of scouring, which stopped plans to train Skyline for spring races. It was decided to give Skyline a long spell in New Zealand to allow him to make a complete recovery.
