GARBETT FOR 'CHASING
Garbett, the winner of four races over hurdles last season, will do his future racing for Mr R. Parsons, of Amberley. The seven-year-old Isaac of York gelding has joined J. L. Barr’s Riccarton team, and will be prepared for a steeplechasing career this winter. Garbett won three races at Ashburton last season. His other win was at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s autumn meeting. He was then raced by the Riccarton trainer, M. J. Wadley.
