Resignation Demand
(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) SEOUL, April 26 The South Korean National Assembly today unanimously asked Dr. Syngman Rhee to resign from the Presidency immediately. The resolution was adopted six hours after President Rhee offered to resign if the people wanted him to. Crowds in the streets greeted the resolution by pulling down two statues of Dr. Rhee and dragging them through the streets.
