OLD BOYS OF ST. JOSEPH’S
25th Anniversary Celebrations About 80 members of the Old Boys’ Association of St. Joseph’s Boys’ Home begin twenty-fifth anniversary celebrations on April 17. Celebrations will begin at 11 a.m. with a Solemn High Mass conducted by Rev. Monsignor J. Hanrahan, assisted by the Rev. Father Bernard Pearce. This will be followed by an anniversary dinner, a concert, afternoon tea, photographs and the annual meeting. In the evening there will be a high tea and films. The Bishop of Christchurch (the Most Rev. E. M. Joyce) will give the address at the afternoon tea and will officiate at the Solemn Benediction. A memorial Mass for deceased Sisters of Nazareth and old boys will take place on Monday, April 18.
