Further Sharp Rise In Hay’s Shares
Hay’s Ltd., shares rose a further Is 3d to sell at 33s 6d in Christchurch yesterday. Gains in the last three weeks now total 3s 6d. South British B shares rose Is to sell at 525. Felt and Textiles of Australia, Ballins Industries, 8.H.P., William Cable and Kaiapoi were also firmer. N.Z. Refrigerating, Cyclone Fence and Gate and Wright Stephenson sold at lower prices. Australian shares were very quiet yesterday but turnover of N.Z. industrials was well maintained.
