Mr Skinner said an intensive and extensive survey of the British market and its supply from all sources was at present being made. It was hoped when all information had been assembled, to be able to project better price trends and to take anticipatory action. But till data were collected, he could say little more. "We certainly expected the price to come down again, but we did not expect it to drop quite so quickly,” said the Minister.
