Dumping Of Cats
Sir,—Will those selfish persons who lack decent feelings remember they are puttings others wi<h some feelings to a lot of trouble finding homes for, or having humanely put to sleep, stray kittens and cats left behind whai those persons shift house or flaf? Unwanted pets are often taken out and dumped on a county road by persons too mean to the S.P.C.A. or a vet. a few shillings. Many times I have paid fs 6d or 10s to have a stray put out of its misery. When a plague of half-starved diseased cats invade our town those people who causefi it will be the first to complain.-J-Yours, etc., BE KIND." March 31, 1960. J
