Motor-Cyclist Hits Hurdles
A motor-cyclist and his pillion passenger suffered slight cuts and abrasions when they struck a set of hurdles marking road works in Yaldhurst road late last night. The rider of the motor-cycle was Allan Holmes, jun. He was riding home when the accident occured. The hurdles were unlit at the time of the accident, according to the police. Both men were taken home in a police patrol car.
Watermelons were flown from Cuba for the annual convention dinner of the Watermelon Growers and Distributors Association of Florida.
