Wing-Commander B. V. Le Pine has been appointed director of Royal New Zealand Air Force Intelligence, succeeding WingCommander G. S. Martin, who has been appointed officer commanding the administration wing at Ohakea—(P.A.)
Wing-Commander W. F. Falvey who has been senior equipment officer at R.N.Z.A.F. headquarters. London, will return to New Zealand in the Rangitoto on Tuesday to take up the appointment of Director of Supply and Transport at the Air Department, Wellington.—(PA..)
Mr J. E. Ritchie, lecturer in Psychology at Victoria University, has been granted a Rockefeller Foundation fellowship for 12 months’ study in America.— (P.A.) Mr S. R. O’Donnell has retired from the staff of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand. Mr O’Donnell has worked in the company since 1917 and for the last 14 years has been senior claims officer in the Christchurch branch of the company. He is retiring because of ill health.
