State Doubles Matches
(NJZ. Press Assoctatwri—Copyrlght > ADELAIDE, January 18. The international tennis pair, Miss C. Truman (England) and Miss M. Bueno (brazil) reached the final of the South Australian women's doubles today.
They won their semi-finals match 6-3. fl-7, against Mrs G. Thiele and Miss 3 Shearer. Musses Truman and Bueno will meet the Victorian pair, Miss M. Smith and Mrs E. Rae in the final Miss Smith and Mrs Rae won their semi-final, 7-5, fl-7, from another Victorian pair, Misses R. Lesh and E. Duldig. In the first men’s doubles semifinal. R. Howe and R. Hewitt (New South Wales) beat the second seeded pair, R. Laver (Queensland) and R Mark (New South Wales), 2-6, 6-4. 6-4, 6-2.
In the other semi-final. N Fraser (Victoria) and R. Emerson (Queensland) beat B. Beers and R. Pearson (New South Wales), 6-4, 6-0. 6-1.
