SEARCH FOR MAN ABANDONED
Searchers Find No Trace (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, January 13 The search for T’r Rae Ballantyne Moss, aged 26, married, of Timaru, who was last seen at the head of Lake Tekapo on January 3, has been abandoned. Chief Inspector C. H Reardon said this evening that searchers today concentrated on the outflow of the Godley river, but without result.
The verge of the lake Is patrolled in the ordinary course of events by shepherds, station owners and sportsmen. “There is no point in going beyond this,” Mr Reardon added.
