Orphans Guests On Arneb
About 60 children from St. Joseph’s Orphanage, Middleton. were the guests yesterday of the officers and crew of the United States attack transport ship Arneb. The children were shown over the ship and given lunch. In the afternoon they were taken for a trip around the harbour in a landing barge and on their return to the Arneb, were entertained to a programme of film cartoons.
