£5000 LIBEL ACTION
Claim Against Mr Walsh (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 4. A claim for damages against Fintan Patrick Walsh will be heard in the Supreme Court at Wellington, next week, when George Alfred Solomon will seek £5OOO from him, alleging defamation of character.
The hearing was originally set down for Monday, but a carryover of cases from this week is likely to cause a delay and the case is unlikely to start before Tuesday. Mr Solomon’s counsel is Mr J. H. Dunn. Mr E. D. Blundell will appear for Walsh.
