Handicap At Woodville
"The Press" Special Service WELLINGTON, December 4. With the benefit of last week’s race, in which he finished fifth, and subsequent training. Rover should be ready to regain the good form he showed as a three-year-old in the Gothard Handicap at Woodville tomorrow. This is the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the final day of the Woodville District Jockey Club’s summer meeting. This double will be completed by the Railway Handicap, which may mark the return to form of Destroyer. The weather has been fine and the forecast is good. The track will provide firm footing. Selections:— 11.30 a.m.—Papatawa High-weight: Musketeer, Corsican, Honest John. 12.5 p.m.—Novice Stakes—First Division: Sweet Summer, Regal Melody. Second Division: Lochray, Pasadena. 12.50 p.m.—Kiritakl Hack Handicap: Glrvan, Border Prince, Dalveen. 1.30 p.m. Juvenile HandicapFirst Division: Toy, Dr. JekyJl. Second Division: Fine View, Baloo. 2.20 p.m. Gothard Handicap: Rover, Peter Baffles, Gentoleno. 3.15 p.m.—Gorge Hack Handicap: Ilumquh Minstrel Beau. Marco James. 3.55 p.m.—Railway Handicap: Destroyer. Kathey’s Romance, Tyrant. 4.40 p.m.—Stewards’ Hack Handicap: King’s Mate, Musick, Jananni.
