Seventh Child For Chaplins
(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) LAUSANNE, December 3.
Oona Chaplin, 35-year-old wife of the 70-year-old actor-producer, Charles Chaplin, had an 81b girl at Lausanne today. Chaplin arrived at the clinic 10 minutes before the seventh child was born. He was the first to greet his wife after the birth. He later told waiting journalists that the baby would be called Annette Emily. At the clinic it was stated that Oona—daughter of American dramatist Eugene O’Neill —and her new daughter were “both in very good health.”
