U.K. Aircraft Merger
N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 4. Hawker Siddeley and the Blackburn group—two of Britain’s biggest aircraft manufacturers—are to merge. It was announced last night that the £2OO-million Hawker Siddeley group would make an offer for the whole of Blackburn’s issued capital of £1,375,218 in 10s ordinary shares.
