COMMITTEE ON UNIVERSITIES
Report Expected Soon : The Committee on the Universities would release its report within the next week or fortnight, said the Minister of Education (Mr Skoglund), when questioned in Christchurch yesterday. “Its report will be studied by the Government, and whatever recommendations the Government feels should be implemented, we will ' implement,’' the Minister said. The names of members of the committee to inquire into education. generally in New Zealand Would be announced before Christmas, said Mr Skoglund. There would probably be seven members, and possibly there would be a woman member. The committee would probably begin its work next March, Mr Skoglund said.
