No Maggots In Stilton

LONDON, December 2. Mr Neville Faulks, Q.C., made an “unreserved apology” to cheese-makers during the hearing ofa case in the Ifigh Court. Earner, he had said that a woman mentioned in the case was “as full of malice as a Stilton cheese is of maggots.” He was challenged immediately afterwards by the Stilton Cheese Manufacturers’ Association.
“I apologise for any imputations against the quality of their, product, whicji I am sure is. uniformly maggotless” he said.
